Molecules
When 2 or more atoms coalesce, they are called molecules.
They may either be of the same kind of atom, such as an Oxygen molecule (O2), made of 2 Oxygen atoms, or
are made from different elements (atoms) such as H2O (2 Hydrogen and 1 Oxygen atoms)
An interesting point about molecules is that when they bond:
A) the atoms share their electrons, and
B) they prefer to have their shells filled.
The electron, if moving from 1 shell to another (either it's own, or when bonding with other atoms to make molecules), will jump - make a 'quantum leap' - and immediately appear on the next shell, without moving through the space in between shells.
THE BIG QUESTION IS - HOW DID NON-LIVING THINGS TURN INTO - LIVING THINGS
