Galahad is a word from the Old Testament meaning “mountain of witness,” and it is understood to mean a mountain of witness to Christ.    RG 50

   Galahad entered the fellowship of Arthur’s Knights of the Round Table on the feast of the Pentecost, wearing red armor symbolic of the presence in him of the grace of the Spirit, to which his life and character were to be witness (Galahad means “mountain of witness”).  RG
