‘They have no regret over the past, nor do they brood over the future.  They live in the present; therefore they are radiant’

                                                                -- Buddha

Radiance is the reflection of Purity.  You know a radiant person when you see them; it’s impossible to not see a new mother’s ‘glow’.  The first words from the first person who came into contact with Buddha immediately after his enlightenment asked; “Are you a God?”  It was clearly a result of the passerby’s observation of a radiance that he had never experienced before or could have imagined.

Sacittapariyodapanam: Having cleared away impurities the mind is free of worries... peaceful, kind and virtuous. When the mind is radiant and has given up evil, there is ease at all times. The serene and peaceful mind is the true epitome of human achievement[1].

The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.
